Jeff's story: why this company exists

Good Faith Roofing started with a bad roofing experience, and it happened to our founder. Jeff Gibson noticed a few shingle granules on his pool deck and driveway. Not long after, a door knocking contractor was on his porch, and before Jeff fully understood what was happening, he was under contract. What followed was a horrible experience: pressure, poor communication, and a company more interested in signing the job than doing it right.

If it could happen to Jeff, it could happen to anyone. That became his why. Roofing has a reputation problem in North Texas, and it is earned. Every hail season brings crews who arrive with the storm and leave with it. Homeowners get pressured into contracts before they have an inspection report, told their claim is guaranteed, and offered deductible arrangements that are illegal in Texas. When something fails two years later, the phone number is disconnected.

Jeff built Good Faith Roofing to protect people from those contractors. Our mission is simple: bring ethics to an unethical industry.

Jeff's vision

Jeff wants Good Faith Roofing to be the company he wishes had knocked on his door. That means a local company with a permanent address, an honest inspection before any contract, photos and documentation of what we find, and recommendations that put the homeowner first, including the ones that cost us the job. A few granules do not automatically mean you need a new roof, and we will tell you so.

It also means owning the outcome. Our Get It Right Guarantee is the written version of Jeff's ethics: we either get it right the first time, or we make it right every time. No finger pointing, no disappearing act, and no pressure.

The clearest expression of that standard is how we handle homes with solar. Most homeowners in that position are forced to hire a roofer and a solar contractor separately, coordinate their schedules, and then referee the argument when something goes wrong. We hold both scopes, which means there is exactly one company responsible for the roof, the panels, the penetrations and the system's output when the work is done.

Our relationship to Good Faith Energy

Good Faith Roofing LLC is its own company. It grew out of the roofing operations associated with Good Faith Energy and shares that organization's expertise in solar and its customer-first philosophy. Good Faith Energy's reviews and history belong to Good Faith Energy. Good Faith Roofing is building its own review profile from its own work, which is exactly how it should be.
